First, it says you need 6gpm or more and then later on, after trying to increase water flow, worrying about the 5 feet uphill from the faucet, installing the system and seeing the sprinklers not pop up... I accidentally found out that the hose connection kit includes a pressure reducer at 25 PSI.

I called Rain Bird and they agreed with me that something was not right. I took out the pressure reducer and the sprinklers are fine. I realized what the problem is... It's California where the company is located.

The instructions should asterisk the 25PSI and save us DIY folks a lot of time and aggravation. The only way I found out was reading the detail in the online store for the Hose Connection Kit. Finally, Rain Bird (the company) should have an online Customer Review Site. The only question I have is WHY did I wait so long??? The system is amazing and I love it!!
