The mulching kit features easy-to-install baffles that fit under mower decks to create a separate cutting chamber for each blade. When cut, grass lifts into the cutting chamber creating tiny clippings before dropping onto the lawn.

Mulching tips: mow at full throttle and half speed, mow dry grass only and cut no more than 2.5 cm 1 in. At one time for tall grass mow at a higher cutting height, then make a second or third pass with deck set to desired cutting height. What's in the box: 1 right baffle, 1 left baffle, 1 discharge baffle and 3 mulching blades. Ariens APEX 60 in models 991151 and 991157.
