Stock heads, stock dual plane manifold. Bought this system because i was sick and tired of regular style carb. Could never get a regular carb to adjust properly. Had 3 different carbs on car after rebuilt engine.

Carbs were always clogging up, sat to long, always needing tunning, and always pinged so had to detune regular carbs. With this system my car has NEVER worked so great.

I will say to install system i had to drop gas tank and put in return fuel line. Not real big deal, since ive replaced/replaced engine and put in a T56 tranny. The biggest issue is tun ing the system and engine to system. Although the system says its self learning, which is does once you start driving.

The system learns air fuel ratios and such. But you ave to be able to set up you engine for proper timing(crutial) and proper running engine temp. Example I didnt have proper timing on my initial startup and over heated engine. Didnt break anything but had to figure out what my my issues were.

Holley Tech was VERY helpful with the different people that i spoke with. The handheld comes with system(wont work without it), and is kind of complicated. BUT there is ALOT to learn. There is a 16 page install manual and a 50+ page technical spec manual. The second one will definately make your head spins if you never dealt with EFI. Which i never had before. You dont need to an know every detail of the second manual to make it work. I bought the system after reading MANY reviews of people with major and minor problems.

Some people had the worst nightmare trying to install and ended up returning it because never work for them. Even after calling Holley for over months on end. Ive seen Garage Squad on TV putting these kits on vehicles they fix, so i felt confident the product was good. Related Items / Suggested Parts.
