The OS-5 Radio Replacement Interface will help you retain your OnStar® system's functionality and your Bose factory-installed amplifier (if present) when your vehicle's factory radio is replaced with an aftermarket radio in a 29-bit GMLAN vehicle. You'll be able to retain your warning chimes, Rear Seat Controls (RSC) and factory XM radio. The PAC OS-5 will also provide data driven outputs such as retained accessory power (RAP), vehicle speed sensor (VSS), illumination, reverse trigger and parking brake. The Dash kit is made from factory textured ABS plastic.

Includes fully adjustable ISO mounting brackets and easy to follow instructions & mounting hardware. Due to in dash depth restrictions some radios may not fit dash opening. Some installations may require minor kit modifications.

Works only on aftermarket radio installations. Retains OnStar® when the factory radio is replaced. Retains Factory Bluetooth (2009+ model vehicles). Retains rear seat audio controls. Retains all warning chimes (chime module included).

Retains factory BOSE audio systems. Retains factory premium BOSE audio Y91 digital. Steering wheel control harness (pre-wired). You can find it here. Chime volume adjustment (factory buttons).

Rear seat audio and video (GMRVD) is required and not included. Retained accessory power output R. VSS (Vehicle Speed Sense) output. If your vehicle is listed on the next table and is equipped with a factory navigation unit, you will require an additional harness, the OSGMLAN44 (not included), for the OS-5 work with your vehicle. The OS-5 will retain the use of the factory XM receiver.

Factory SWC or RSE controls must be present for use of this feature. SWI interface must be used in conjunction for SWC retention.

RSC buttons that are identical to the SWC will mimic the SWC function for function. Premium factory amplified systems will not fade as neither the aftermarket radio or the RP interface have the ability to control the amplifier's fader. 2012 Avalanche, Sierra, Silverado Suburban, Tahoe & Yukon vehicles equipped with a Navigation radio require the OSGMLAN44 harness. Chevrolet Express vans & GMC Savannah vans equipped with diesel engines are not compatible. In order to retain the factory XM tuner the aftermarket head unit MUST be equipped with an auxiliary input.
